DESCRIPTION
The infrared receiver enables the DisplayIT in-car lap timer to function without the need for an AMB transponder and special hardware in the timing tower.
The receiver will detect a track-side beacon (infrared transmitter) and will relay the timing information to the DisplayIT wirelessly.
The beacon can be a Blind Apex infrared transmitter or an AIM infrared beacon.
